  What is preknit wire? I have a big spool of wire that has a clear coating, but I got it in bulk.

    preknit wire is wire that is knitted so that it is sorta like a sheet of mesh

  Try Rio Grande, Otto Frei, and maybe Kingsley North. I know for a certainty that Rio Grande sells silver and gold fill mesh.
